In this workshop we will discuss what is essential in creating a safe EAMH practice, we will go through what is required of your horses and your own understanding of what makes you a safe, effective and trauma informed practitioner. The workshop will consist of both theory and practical components.

Jane draws upon years of training, study, and her own journey to assist you in your life. She has worked as a therapist in both room based settings and in equine assisted therapy for the past 13 years.
As well as teaching, she maintains a private practice and draws upon Gestalt therapy, equine assisted psychotherapy, mindfulness techniques, art therapy, yogic philosophy, trauma informed practices and horsemanship to support you.
She is currently commencing her advanced year of Somatic Experiencing training.
Jane started her career as a Registered Nurse and worked in the hospital setting and community both here and overseas.
During her career as a nurse, she supported people through the difficult transitions of illness, grief and loss, death, birth, trauma, and mental health issues.
Jane has a Masters in Gestalt Psychotherapy, a Bachelor of Nursing, a Certificate in Initiatic/ Sensorimotor Art Therapy, a Certificate in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, she is also a Certified Riding Instructor and Trail Guide.

Yara Balba Stables is a gorgeous property nestled in the rolling hills of Mandalong. There is an indoor arena, art studio and onsite parking.
Accommodation is also available onsite in the form of an Air bnb House and a studio apartment.
